About
It's All About Me, Me, Me!
At Least It's Only A Little About Me Page
I am a lucky duck. I coincidently retired from a long career as a public school teacher in 2019 before the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic broke out in Canada. My Sweetie, artist Peter Marsh, and I have created beautiful gardens, beautiful art, a wonderful family and cultivated some great friendships. I've been digitally volunteering at the Toronto Watercolour Society (https://torontowatercoloursociety.com/) and the Existential Art Gallery of Scarborough (https://galleryxscarborough.com/). In 2022, at the age of sixty-two, I made the considered decision to go back to school to study part-time at the graduate level. I am learning at Ontario Tech University.
I am a Mum
Rox Hayward, who is currently a Vice-Principal with the Toronto District School Board, encouraged me to join him in applying for a Graduate Diploma in Education and Digital Technologies commencing May 2022. We were both accepted and later decided to transfer to the MEd program.
... a Nana
Henry is our youngest grandchild. We developed a special bond when he was in Junior Kindergarten and the schools were shuttered because of the pandemic. Henry went to Nana School where he learned to read and write at the age of four. His favourite subject is Math and he wants to be a Vice-Principal when he grows up!
... and an Artist
Tiny works in watercolour, ink, pencil crayon, pastel & the occasional gemstone for you to enjoy at WendyMarsh.com. Lately, the production of artwork has slowed as my need to write for my courses has increased. But, hey, this website is pretty fancy, right?!
